How the integration works

Expense platform integrations pull that retirement record via API and attach it to the corresponding expense line item when the employee submits their claim.
The result is an expense dataset where hotel line items carry verified carbon data rather than modelled estimates. Finance teams, sustainability controllers, and CSRD reporting teams can extract that data directly for Scope 3 calculations without separate reconciliation steps.
Integration architecture
IMPT exposes a booking-level API that returns the retirement transaction hash, tonne quantity, verification standard, and booking metadata for each confirmed booking.
